CHAPTER 13
Diamond called a meeting.
After the events that took place at the club, Diamond, Bucky, and Styles circled for discussion. What happened that night was a total disrespect and had to be dealt with. There was no way he could let it pass. Diamond was as egotistical as big Ballers come. What he termed as âdisrespectâ was only an excuse to get rid of a young hustler, who threatened him.
Heâd heard a lot about Earl and after meeting him face to face, heâd come to the conclusion that Earl was no ordinary player in the game, he wasnât someone whoâd made a few moves in the street and it all worked out. This kid had the mind and potential to be great in the game, even greater than Diamond.
When Diamond came into the game, he didnât have to muscle his way in. He didnât have to crawl before he walked. Diamond already had money. So he never had to be a Gangster. His money bought him that. Diamond got to where he was because of who he was. Earl got to where he was in the game because of what he was (thereâs a difference), and that kept Diamond up at nightâmade him uncomfortable.
At the meeting, the Big Three sat at a mahogany table in Diamondâs mini mansion. The only other people present were their bodyguards.
âSo Diamond what are we gonna do about this shit?â Bucky pushed first.
Styles spoke. âI told you when we first heard about them that they would be trouble.â
Diamond agreed. âYeah, and that little stunt they pulled at my club proved you were right.â
Bucky slammed his fist against the table. âThose dudes pulled guns on me. Just straight up disrespected my table. Diamond, I swear, I was two seconds from telling my crew to set the mothafucka off. But I remembered we were in your club. If it werenât for that, they wouldâve been three dead asses.â
Bucky was frontinâ, putting on a show of anger after the fact to save face with Diamond and Styles. Lil Skeet had checked him and his whole crew that night, and everyone saw it. However Bucky was no push over. He and his crew were mobbing deep on the Southside of the city. Although his clique was a dangerous group, Bucky himself wasnât as Gangster as the streets had him.
âA danger to one of us is a danger to all three of us.â Styles weighed in. âThe same goes for disrespect. Those boys canât ball on our level, and we need to make that clear before itâs too late.â
They spoke in terms of âweâ and âus.â The three wanted to deal with the threat, but neither wanted to go to war alone. They found confidence in numbers.
Diamond played the head. âVengeance has a time and place.â
âSo how are we going to handle this, Diamond?â Bucky asked.
âChill, chill. Iâm waiting on Lou Lou to get back. I sent him to pick up someone.â
âWho?â
âBig Faye.â
âBig Faye? What does that fat mothafucka have to do with this? From what I hear, heâs connected to them.
